Would you like some FX’s to your level?. Your units are fighting over a hostile area and to reinforce this atmosphere you can add smoke colums and spontaneous explosions. You can add as many FX as you want (no limit for free trial).
Open your enemy_troops.bmp file and draw new patters:
Smoke column.
Whit this FX you can represent destroyed buildings, facilities…

Wind.
To alter the aspect of your smoke columns draw a new pattern like this (or more than one) near the smoke column pattern:

You can simulate whirwinds…
Spontaneous explosion.
A car explodes…. draw over this pattern:

Big spontaneous explosion.
A chemical plant explodes at any time…

To complete the presentation of your level in the main menu save in your level folder up to 16 images with any size (little image are better) in jpg format all named as image1.jpg, image2.jpg, image3.jpg … image16.jpg. Those images will be presented cyclically at the top of the menu.
See how we did that in the the tutorial levels.

By default, the screen will move from bottom to top of your scenario, like classic 2D arcades. May be you want another scrolling behaviour.
To do that create a file navigation.bmp (important .bmp) with the same size than ground.jpg and draw a path (like you did with enemy units). The screen will follow that path. It is possible to navigate from top to bottom, navigate drawing an spiral, any arbitrary route is admitted.

(an arbitrary scroll path)

When the player activate the slowmotion mode would be interesting to show some additional data to him, critical buildings, infrared data, elevation data etc…
To provide that information create a file named scanner.jpg with the same size than ground.jpg. Here is an example:

(the elevated elements of baikonur strike level)
Here is the file: scanner.jpg

Would you like a background music for your level when you select it in the main menu. Save a file named background_sound.wav in your level folder and it will played cyclically.
